Transportation and Art Audio Tour

Explore one of the central connecting streets in the 40 West Arts District, Lamar Street, by taking it from the Lamar Light Rail Station directly into the Lamar Station Plaza shopping center. You’ll hear historical tidbits, discover some surprising artistic endeavors created by local firefighters, and learn more about wild medicinal plants from a sprawling mural that covers 14 walls on 11 buildings. And when you finish, you’ll be able to visit a handful of local businesses at the 40 West Arts District Hub.

Building Up an Arts District

Start your tour off with One Positive Thing — a series of illustrations by Buddy Bravo and immortalized with vinyl wraps for RTD — and then veer off the ArtLine for a moment to see a huge hummingbird mural before heading north on Lamar Street.
